Blue Eagles Flew High, Catches Fancy Crown 3 in a Row

Manila, Philippines- ADMU Blue Eagles had it’s sweet finish yesterday as they won the UAAP Season 73 Men’s Basketball Title. The Katipunan-based squad was lead by Ryan Buenafe as he scored 23 points, 10 on 4^th. Period. Buenafe who struggled for this season because of his weight problem promised his mentor Norman Black that game 2 for him  would be different as he will step up in this crucial game.

 

Black joined the legacy of Franz Pumaren, Aric Del Rosario and Baby Dalupan in having three peat UAAP crown. "This is the most difficult championship that we've won. It was a total team effort. Thank you to the Ateneo community for sticking with us," said Black.

Buenafe is supported by Monfort (10), Salva (9), Long and Chua both scored 7 points. While Tams was led by Reil Cervantes, he scored 15 points and 10 rebounds. RR Garcia is the missing link for FEU as he scores only 6, his lowest production this season. Aside from that head coach Glen Capacio has been missed the whole second half as he was rushed to Medical City because his high blood pressure.
